  • The breeder does not guarantee against puppy ailments, which can occur quickly, once the dog leaves the breeder’s possession. The buyer acknowledges that the puppy is always at risk of contracting parasites, bacteria, or viruses.

  • The breeder does not guarantee against the development of Parvo. The puppy will receive 1st vaccinations, wormed, and a health check from the veterinarian before the transfer. Breeder will provide a vet check date and documentation.  The buyer is responsible for completion of the puppy vaccines as recommended by the breeder's veterinarian and should utilize extreme caution until the puppy is fully vaccinated by limiting exposure to other pets and ground surfaces.

If traveling – DO NOT – utilize dog parks or even grassy areas at rest stops. The use of public parks, rest stops, etc. is extremely discouraged. Until the puppy is fully vaccinated, it is highly suggested that you keep them indoors in a sanitized area and utilize training pads for a potty area.

 Genetically Tested Parents:

  • All dams and sires have been genetically tested to ensure safe breeding practices to prevent increased potential of future health problems. Testing has been conducted through Embark.

  • All Labrador Retrievers are genetically a higher risk for pro-opiomelanocortin (POMC), hip or elbow dysplasia, hemangiosarcoma, exercise-induced collapse (EIC), progressive retinal atrophy, centronuclear myopathy, tricuspid valve dysplasia, laryngeal paralysis and polyneuropathy.

  • The buyer acknowledges these risks and understands that an occurrence of any developments is not due to the fault of this breeder.

Notable Recommendations and Requirements:

  • Puppies have previously been fed Diamond Naturals Large Breed Puppy

  • POMC is a genetic trait responsible for regulating appetite and energy levels in dogs. This in turn, leads to an increased appetites and a decreased ability to feel full. – Free feeding is not an option, and a slow feeder bowl is encouraged. – Water intake should be monitored, but usually open water is fine.

  • If breeding rights were not purchased and agreed upon between the buyer and the breeder – it is required that the puppy be spayed or neutered. Typically, the ideal age for Labradors is from 9 to 15 months. If the breeder gets notified that there is unethical or illegal breeding practices being conducted, the breeder will follow legal prosecution accordingly.

  • Pine pellets have been utilized for an established potty spot. For an easier potty training experience, it’s suggested that pine pellets are placed in the area you’d like to designate.
