What Shots have they had?

Depending on when you got your pup, they have had two or three of their four shot series. These could be a 5-way or a 7-way. Check your contract to verify which shots your baby had. 

Rabies is not included due to the age of the pups. The new families are required to take their new fur baby to the vet to get the Rabies vaccine then.

How do I help with Potty Training?

We have previously established a potty area for the puppies using pine pellets. Tractor supply pine pellets are my favorite, but any types will work. (Yes they are the same as wood pellets for a fire place) Take a half a bag to a full bag and sprinkle them in your designated potty area. Once they understand that's been established, they should continue to use the same spot.

What do I do about the CHEWING?!

Welcome to the life of a lab puppy owner! (It's my least favorite part)

Keep them contained as best you can to a controlled area. Offer them LOTS of enrichment! You'll loose a few toys, but it's the price we pay. I do really like to get some beef leg bones and pig ears for them to chew. Just make sure to watch them and use caution for their safety!
